Technology and food are not often paired together in people’s minds. Goma Tei, one of the most popular ramen shops in Honolulu, aimed to change that perception. Noodles were cut to exact precision at blistering speeds using machines and software that were custom made from engineers in both China and Taiwan. Broths were even pressurized and blended using state-of-the-art equipment.

This obsession with technology led to results that were proven to be delicious at such a high rate of consistency that returning customers made up an astonishing majority of their revenue. Manager Siyuan wanted this dedication to the pursuit of perfection to be reflected in their branding.
