HAWAII PACIFIC PHOTO
RE-BRANDING

> PROFESSIONAL project <

Hawaii Pacific Photo was the first photo lab in the state of Hawai’i to own and operate a 200 square foot Durst Lamba light-sensitive printer capable of producing high quality analog prints on paper up to 10 feet long. This massive, space-hogging machine drew in professional photographers and print enthusiasts from all over the state at the end of the 90’s and into the early 2000’s. But since the decline of analog technology, Hawaii Pacific Photo was ready to shutter its doors permanently in 2015.

In early 2016, I was tasked with re-branding the company and taking it to new heights. Film photography was making a comeback, and by introducing design services alongside photo lab operations, Hawaii Pacific Photo was able to thrive for another 6 years before being sold to another local company to carry on its analog offerings.
