PACT
APPLICATION

> CONCEPTUALIZATION <

These mockups were done for Pact — an American company with manufacturing roots in India attempting to turn the fashion and textile industry on its head. Fast fashion companies often revel in exploiting workers overseas, indiscriminately wasting precious resources, and utilizing crop and manufacturing techniques that are harmful to both people and the environment. Cotton is also one of the Earth’s thirstiest crops, taking an estimated 27,000 gallons of water to grow per acre, most of which is extracted from the very poverty-stricken areas that these fast fashion companies are exploiting. Pact aims to change all of that.

These designs attempt to highlight the ethical advantage of buying high-quality and durable Pact products in a concise and catchy way, meant for use in the digital space on smart phones and tablets in emails, social media advertising slots, or websites. The designs can even be used in high-traffic areas and on sustainable, non-toxic media such as organic newsprint or recycled paper by avoiding the use of deep black inks which are known to contain carcinogens.
