WEEB STREETWEAR was started in 2014 as a small project to bridge the divide between casual street fashion and Japanese animation. It had a short run at anime conventions and online for a period of 18 months before it was indefinitely suspended. Since then, it has served as the inspiration for countless other anime-centered streetwear companies like Umai, Atsuko, and Yujin.
